Choose between a captivating half-day experience with either a serene dawn cruise or a stunning sunset journey or indulge in a full day of exploration that combines your river boat trip with additional birding at the paddy fields habitats of Hoi An and the tropical forests of My Son.
Half-Day Tour (Choose Morning or Afternoon):
- Morning Sunrise Cruise: Start with a pre-dawn pick-up and a breakfast on the go. Enjoy a 2-3 hour private boat cruise along the Truong Giang River, observing the vibrant wetlands and river system teeming with birdlife, waterfowl, dragonflies, and other wildlife. After returning to shore, continue birding through the farmlands and enjoy a traditional lunch before being dropped off at your accommodation.
- Afternoon Sunset Cruise: Instead of the morning, opt for a 1:00 PM pick-up and embark on a private boat cruise through the wetlands and river system during late afternoon golden hour. Conclude your experience with a bird walk through farmland before an early dinner featuring homemade Vietnamese cuisine before heading back to your accommodation
Full-Day Tour: Looking for more? Enhance your half-day adventure with a full-day tour that includes additional birding in the My Son Sanctuary and Hoi An’s paddy fields, turning your river cruise into a comprehensive wildlife experience. In Quang Nam, the climate is typically tropical, with distinct seasonal variations. Expect hot and humid conditions from May to August, with temperatures often reaching into the high 30°C (90°F). The rainy season runs from September to November, bringing occasional heavy showers and cooler temperatures. From December to April, the weather is generally cooler and drier, with pleasant temperatures ranging from the mid-20s to low 30°C (70 to 80°F).
