Our mission at Next Continent is to connect people with the natural world. Whether you’re drawn to tracking down rare and iconic wildlife, experiencing rich local cultures, or capturing the world through your lens, we offer guided wildlife adventures, photography workshops, cultural tours, and natural history explorations across Southeast Asia, Australasia and beyond.

Embracing the Full Spectrum of Ecotourism
We don’t just offer tours, we offer journeys. From highly targeted wildlife encounters, dynamic photography workshops and cultural immersive experiences — our spectrum of ecotourism experiences is as diverse as the ecosystems we explore.
Our Expert Team
Our dedicated team delivers outstanding experiences. Our knowledgeable guides excel in wildlife, ecology, photography and culture, while our office team ensures seamless logistics. Defined by kindness and patience, we aim to craft extraordinary, tailored adventures and lasting memories.
Conservation at Our Core
Conservation isn’t just a buzzword for us, it’s our heartbeat. From day one, we’ve been a proud supporter of wildlife and rewilding conservation projects globally. Our commitment includes active fundraising and collaboration with conservation organisations to address critical biodiversity issues. Explore the world with purpose through our Tailor-made Tours and current Conservation Projects, designed to make a tangible difference.
Community and Education Initiatives
Next Continent is a community builder. Actively involved in vulnerable ecosystems in Southeast Asia, we promote education and rewilding projects by engaging with schools and universities to enhance educational programs. Through children’s books, formal literature, and an extensive photography workshop education platform, we’re shaping a future where conservation is ingrained in every adventure.
Why Choose Us?
Choosing the right wildlife or tourism company can be challenging with so many options available. We understand this well. At Next Continent, we’ve dedicated our efforts to perfecting what truly works in guided tours. Unlike many established companies that have been following the same protocols and services for over 40 years without much innovation, we continuously update our methods, services, itineraries, inclusions and technologies.
We believe in full transparency and delivering on our promises. When you choose us for your next adventure, you can trust that you’re getting the very best in guided wildlife tours, photography tours, and cultural experiences. Our commitment is to provide an authentic and exceptional experience each and every time you journey with us.

Leading the Way with Expert Guide-to-Guest Ratios
Many companies boast about their leader-to-guest ratios, especially on larger group tours. While the industry standard is typically one leader for every 5-6 guests, you’ll often find tours with just one leader for 8 participants, and the second guide is usually the driver, cook, or a non-local guide there only to take photos and log eBird checklists. At Next Continent, we uphold our promises by employing only local and industry experts, offering a superior guide-to-guest ratio of one leader for every 4 guests, with a maximum of 6-8 participants on our larger group specialist tours.
This approach enhances the guest experience and ensures that your money supports the local economy. By hiring local experts, we avoid the common practice of bringing in guides from other parts of the world (who’ve never visited the region), ensuring that the benefits of tourism remain within the community. We believe this is a more ethical and sustainable approach, encouraging regions to invest in and value eco and cultural tourism.
Our Premier Guides & Field Experts
We take immense pride in our world-class team of naturalists, photography experts and cultural guides. Our team stands out as one of the most exceptional in the eco and cultural tourism industry. Each member is a recognised expert in their field, bringing local knowledge and extensive experience to our tours. With multilingual capabilities, you’ll communicate and experience our exotic regions like a local.
On a Next Continent tour, you’ll never encounter a guide unfamiliar with your camera settings, unable to recognise a bird call, or visiting a location for the first time. Our guides don’t rely on Google Maps or prioritize their own photography over guest needs. Our expedition leaders are dedicated to delivering the best travel experience possible. Experience the difference with Next Continent and see why our guides are truly outstanding.
Behind the Scenes: Meet Our Office Staff
A successful guiding and travel company hinges on an experienced and professional office and support team, and we are proud to boast one of the finest. Our multilingual office staff is available 7 days a week, each member trained as a naturalist and having experienced all our tours firsthand. They can answer your questions knowledgeably without consulting our guides. Whether you’re curious about the best time to spot a Ruby-eyed Green Pitviper in Cat Tien, need assistance designing a custom tour, or need a last-minute lens replacement, our office team is here to assist.
Our team is primarily based in our new headquarters in Da Nang, Vietnam—a purpose-designed facility where you can visit for a face-to-face discussion, enjoy traditional Vietnamese coffee, and design your perfect tour experience. We also have team members across Asia and other parts of the world. Get in touch today to find your nearest Next Continent representative.
Proficient in organising complex arrangements for group travel in remote areas, our office staff ensures your inquiries are handled with friendly expertise. Our seamless online booking platform ensures booking with us is a pleasure, and we strive to meet all your requirements before, during, and after your tour.
Unmatched Tour Value and Pricing
Next Continent prides itself on offering unparalleled value in the regions we operate. Our prices and booking conditions are designed to deliver exceptional experiences rather than just the lowest costs. While we may not always be the least expensive option (though often we are!), you can rest assured that our tours are the very best value for your money.
With Next Continent, you benefit from full office support, expert guides, and exclusive access to areas and experiences not typically offered by budget or international operators. We prioritize quality, ensuring every tour exceeds your expectations in both value and experience.
Exceptional Guest Loyalty (86% Return Rate)
At Next Continent, we measure our success not by flashy marketing campaigns or website accolades, but by our guest return rate—an industry-leading 86%. This statistic speaks volumes about the satisfaction and trust our guests place in us. It’s a testament to our commitment to delivering unforgettable experiences and unparalleled service in the ecotourism and travel industry of our region.
Wildlife Watching Ethics
At Next Continent, we use rigorous, field-tested techniques to ensure wildlife and ecosystems remain undisturbed. While perspectives on engaging with natural wonders and wildlife vary, we prioritise ethical practices without delving into every detail of debate.
For first-time visitors, it’s essential to note that not all companies adhere to ethical wildlife watching standards. We encourage guests to inquire about these practices and choose organizations aligned with their values. We advocate for wildlife, ecosystems, and local cultures through responsible tourism practices.
Permits & Legal Access
We prioritise legal access to every location we visit. Our approach to wildlife and cultural observation emphasises mutual respect for local communities, guided by their customs and boundaries. Traveling with us ensures close collaboration with local communities, park managers and authorities, respecting their territories and your safety.
Unlike some larger international companies that have sometimes prompted local authorities to restrict access, we maintain transparent and respectful relationships. If you have any doubts or questions about access permissions, our guides are always available to provide clear and respectful answers. Your peace of mind and ethical travel practices are our utmost priority.
Covid-19 Safety & Policy
While the peak of the global pandemic may have passed, Next Continent continues to implement COVID-19 safety protocols to ensure the well-being of our guests, guides and the local communities we engage with. As the situation evolves, our COVID-19 policies remain flexible. Please consult directly with us before your trip for the most current information. You can learn more by looking at our Terms & Conditions.
Comprehensive First Aid Training
At Next Continent, we prioritise the safety and well-being of all our guests. Our commitment to your health is reflected in our rigorous first aid training for all guides and field team members. They are equipped with up-to-date first aid skills and carry essential safety equipment. This preparation is crucial as our tours often venture into remote areas far from modern medical facilities.
Furthermore, all our participants are covered by our comprehensive insurance policies. It is important to note that it is not standard practice for many tour operators in our regions to cover guests with insurance. However, we believe health and safety are paramount, setting us apart from others. If you have any concerns, we encourage you to request a copy of our insurance policy from your operator. If they cannot provide one, we recommend considering a different operator for your peace of mind.
