Explore the extraordinary world of the Red-shanked Douc Langur, one of the world’s most striking and critically endangered primates. Your adventure begins with a complimentary hotel pick-up in Da Nang, where you’ll meet your expert guide, jump on the bike, strap on your helmet, and head straight into the lush landscapes of Son Tra Peninsula. Fancy a banh mi or Viet coffee for breakfast? No problem, we’ll grab one on the way.
From there, travel along winding mountain roads, cut through tropical jungle gullies, and dive into the world of these rare monkeys deep within this rugged and spectacular landscape, going only where our specialist manual motorbikes can take us. With your guide, you’ll track different family groups, get some epic shots, ditch the crowds, and gain insight into unique behaviour and social structure of this incredible animal.
Beyond the Langurs, keep an eye out for other wildlife highlights including Rhesus Macaque, Javan Mongoose, Chinese Water Dragon, plus tropical birds and dozens of colourful butterflies. After around 3 hours, we’ll ride back down the mountain and return you to your accommodation, your camera full, phone packed, and head still buzzing with wildlife encounters, photos, and unforgettable moments from Vietnam.
