Quý Hoàng Lê

Principal Wildlife Guide

Based in Southern Vietnam

Quý Hoàng Lê

A biologist, accomplished naturalist and experienced tour leader, Quý Hoàng Lê has built his career around exploring, studying and sharing Vietnam’s remarkable wildlife. He studied Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Science, where his graduate research focused on the biodiversity of Vietnam’s semi-desert habitats. He has also published several articles on conservation and biodiversity.

Today, Quý is one of Next Continent’s most respected and experienced wildlife guides, as well as a key member of our leadership team, where he plays an important role in training and mentoring new guides. Known for his exceptional field skills, determination and willingness to go the extra mile, he regularly leads some of our most specialised and demanding expeditions, including extended birding, mammalwatching and wildlife photography tours. Despite his extensive experience leading complex, multi-week adventures, Quý equally enjoys guiding shorter experiences and single-day excursions, working with guests of all backgrounds and experience levels.

Fluent in English and deeply familiar with Vietnam’s ecosystems, national parks and local communities, Quý is a highly versatile naturalist whose knowledge extends well beyond his principal guiding specialities, including reptiles, amphibians and the wider natural history of Vietnam. Whether tracking down elusive target species, helping guests improve their photography or simply sharing his knowledge of the natural world, he brings an infectious enthusiasm to every experience. Calm under pressure, adaptable in the field and always ready with a smile, Quý is consistently praised by guests for his knowledge, dedication and the genuine care he brings to every tour.
