We had an excellent time, catching glimpse of rare species of birds and animals. We have learnt a lot of cultural aspects of Danang as well. Our guide Hoang was simply amazing - we were impressed by his extensive knowledge of nature, wildlife and the local environment. He took the time to answer all our questions and his enthusiasm was infectious.\nThe bird watching was an absolute highlight! We were lucky enough to observe many species in their natural environment. The parrots and bats were particularly exciting. The seafood hotpot in a restaurant by the sea was also a highlight.\n\nWe were also impressed by the organization of the excursion, especially as we booked the tour at such short notice. At the end, we even received a detailed list of all the species we saw by email - a wonderful reminder of this special day.\nWe can highly recommend this trip and the team behind it. It was amazing to see these beautiful and rare animals, we saw around like 15-20! Also saw a few macaques and was just really amazing and great opportunities for photography and video. \n\t\t\t\t\t\tI have just returned from a two week tour of Vietnam with the organisation and guidance of Next Continent. It was a truly memorable experience full of wildlife and culture. Every day offered new and exciting sights, with a balance of the busy big cities mixed with the peace of the national parks.\nOur guides were incredibly knowledgeable, keeping up a quiet running commentary as we made our way through thick jungle or a cultural site of significance. I am in awe of our wildlife guide who could identify a vast array of birds or recognise primates moving through the canopy. We saw so much it is hard to focus on particulars but one that stands out was the roar of a huge hornbill\u2019s wings as it circled over us.\nThe management of the whole trip was first class. Accommodation was good and varied with the locale. Transport was seamless, including internal flights. \n\t\t\t\t\t\tAbsolutely excellent experience. Proper guides who really are experts. We were on a birding+langur+herping tour, and there was a specialist herping expert, and a birding expert. They were both knowledgeable and friendly and answered all our questions about the local wildlife. We saw lots of macaques, birds, and even a few vipers! The herping was a pretty amazing experience, you are given a torch and you head into the brush. There are many great photos opportunities! \n\t\t\t\t\t\tMy experience with Next Continent was very positive. The offices were efficient and professional. The pricing, and what was and was not included, was clear and consistent. More importantly my guide was excellent! Super knowledgeable about birds and always in tune with my goals (in my case a series of \u201cbig day\u201d style birding trips). Good birding requires responsiveness to conditions on the ground and I never questioned their decisions\/recommendations. Birding is largely luck so no one can promise specific numbers. I am also not new to birding Southeast Asia, but I was nevertheless surprised by how many new birds I was able to see in such a short off-season trip! \n\t\t\t\t\t\tWe did two guided birdwatching tours with the company, one in Da Nang with Thanh and one in Hanoi with Billy. Both tours were truly exceptional and fantastic experience. The guides are very knowledgeable, identifying a bird just seeing them flying by or hearing them in the distance. If there was any doubt, they took photos or recorded vocalisation and sent them to their back office team for help. Amazing. They kept recording the list of species we saw and registered on my Ebird directly. The transfer and cars are also nice, our driver was even a birder and kept stopping, if he saw something. We had breakfast and lunch, which was organised in very local Vietnames places, so an extra touch to try out local cuisine.\nEven the management and the organisation part was very good experience, very attentive and helpful, always answering emails promptly and while I was travelling through Southeast Asia, not knowing what my next days will bring, they sent me reminder emails to tell that they are flexible and happy to help. A tailored tour with our own personal guides which was shaped for us to include a diverse range of experiences from wildlife and bird spotting to in depth explorations of cultural high lights such as bai dhin pagoda . The places we visited were, more often than not, away from the regular tourist trail . We travelled from south to north with all transport taken care of with a calm and trusted expertise . The guides were able to spot a wide variety of bird snd wildlife and share their expert knowledge of species and habitat . A personal highlight was taking a local boat through the wetlands of Ninh Binh to find the delacours languors . We watched these beautiful endangered creatures play in the tree tops and scale the lime stone karst and then left them undisturbed . As a bonus our guides shared their knowledge of regional food and advised us on where to go to sample the best that Vietnam has to offer . We would recommend this company highly. T\u00f9ng is highly knowledgeable in his field, and I appreciated his genuine enthusiasm for reptiles, particularly snakes. His excitement when spotting a snake was contagious! I would recommend T\u00f9ng for herping tours and look forward to joining another trip with Next Continent. P.S.
